IMPORTANT NOTICE: As a licensed second-hand dealer under the Pawnbrokers and Second-hand Dealers Act 1996 (NSW), Luxuria Watches is required by law to record details of all buying and selling transactions involving second-hand goods and to provide this information electronically to NSW Police. By transacting with us, you acknowledge and consent to this disclosure. |
Specifically, the following information is submitted electronically to NSW Police via the NSW Police Weblink system within 3 business days of each transaction:
- Your full name and date of birth
- Your residential address
- Your identity document details — type, number and expiry
- A description of the goods transacted — including brand, model and serial number
- The transaction date and price
This disclosure is a mandatory legal obligation under Section 16(5A) of the Pawnbrokers and Second-hand Dealers Act 1996 (NSW) and is not subject to your consent. NSW Police and authorised officers may also inspect our premises and records at any time under Section 20 of the Act.
5. How We Protect Your Information
Luxuria Watches takes reasonable measures — physical, organisational and technological — to safeguard against unauthorised access to your personal information and to safely store your personal information.
Our website uses 256-bit encrypted SSL to increase the security of our customers’ information. The connection is encrypted using message authentication as the key exchange mechanism.
Personal information collected through in-store transactions is stored securely in both digital and physical form at our registered business premises at Suite 207, Level 2, 375 George Street, Sydney NSW 2000.
All records are retained for a minimum of 7 years as required by applicable law, including the Pawnbrokers and Second-hand Dealers Act 1996 (NSW).

6. Payment Information
Luxuria Watches accepts bank transfer (EFT), Visa, Mastercard and debit card payments only. We do not accept cash or cryptocurrency for any transaction.
Luxuria Watches does not store your credit card or debit card details. All card payments are processed securely through our authorised payment processor. Card details are never recorded or retained by Luxuria Watches.
Where you provide bank account details (BSB and account number) for the purpose of receiving payment from Luxuria Watches for a watch sold to us, those details are used solely for the purpose of making payment and are retained as required by the Pawnbrokers and Second-hand Dealers Act 1996 (NSW).
